Andy Codding, widely recognized as “AndyRDH,” has been a leading educator and mentor in the dental hygiene field for over 20 years, specializing in preparing students for the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE).
A 2002 graduate with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene, Andy has dedicated his career to supporting student success. In recognition of his contributions, he was named the 2013 Sonicare National Mentor of Distinction. His expertise and commitment have helped more than 40,000 dental hygiene students successfully pass the NBDHE.
Andy is a nationally recognized speaker, delivering lectures across the country on Board exam preparation and the transition from hygiene school to professional practice. His ability to simplify complex topics and provide effective test-taking strategies has made him a trusted resource among students and professionals alike.
In addition to his work in education, Andy is the founder and administrator of the AndyRDH and Dental Hygiene Life Facebook group, a professional community of nearly 30,000 dental hygienists and students. This platform serves as a space for collaboration, guidance, and industry-related discussions.
Dedicated to student success, Andy remains readily available to provide expert advice, study strategies, and insights to help students achieve their academic and professional goals.
MY Story
AndyRDH founded AndyRDH's Dental Hygiene Academy in 2017. Andy has been assisting students with Board review material since 2002. Andy has several mobile apps, and multiple review sources for dental hygiene students. AndyRDH has built his business upon a "Students First" motto. Andy hopes to continue helping students succeed on their National Board exam year after year. AndyRDH is always updating and growing as needed to have the most comprehensive Board review out there. Andy also loves to work alongside dental hygiene faculty to support them in supporting their students. AndyRDH looks forward to working with you!
